I found the original 1968 movie DVD of "The Producers" in the library the other day. It is the movie on which they made the famous musical. I’ve never seen the musical "The Producers"， either on Broadway or movie. It is one of the most successful musical on Broadway， so maybe I should see it， but somehow I had no chance.

Anyway the movie was very good. As opposed to my image， I found it a kind of cult film ， which surprised me. I loved the leading actors; Zero Mostel(ゼロ・モステル) as Max and Gene Wilder(ジーン・ワイルダー) as Leo. I doubt if Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick can be as good as them. Matthew as Leo， maybe， but Zero Mostel was super good.

I recommend this movie. And I have to see the musical version.
