Sunny.

Watched the DVD "Lend Me a Tenor" in Lincoln Center. Because I just did it in my class, it was very interesting. I don’t like watching the play before I make the role, because very easily I get affected. I feel like it is the only way to act the role, and I lose my own way to approach the role. After doing it, however, I have my own charactor on me, so watching another way of making the role is a lot of fun.

"Lend Me a Tenor" is a farce, which has a lot of rediculous plots. I was even wondering if it’s possible to make it make sense, but they were doing it beautifully. No one was pushing, which made it more real and so funnier.

The show itself was very decent, but what impressed me even more was the curtain call. After the last blackout, they went over the play like the fast-foward of the video. I had never seen the curtain call like that, and it worked very well because the the actors were so nice that we had the attachment to the charactors at that point.

Alive acting.
