Watched the movie “Going in Style”. I rented the video from public library， which was my first time to do it. I was looking for “The Godfather” in the shelf of “G”， but it was not there. I found “Going in Style” instead. I was not familiar with it， but it seemed nice， and I found Lee Strasberg (リー・ストラスバーグ) was in the cast， so I decided to rent it.
It was a quiet movie， nothing showy， but I like it. The story was about three old men， Joe， Al， and Willie， who are doing nothing but sitting on the bench everyday. One night， Joe hatches a scheme to robb a bank， not only get the money， but also some excitement of youth. The movie was a comedy， but it was filled with the melancholy and modest happiness of human life. Three leading actors were great. They are not old for nothing; their acting were not pushy at all， but very persuasive.
Accoreding to the Internet， the director of this movie， Martin Brest（マーティン・ブレスト） is the director of “Scent of a Woman (セント・オブ・ウーマン/夢の香り)” and “Meet Joe Black (ジョー・ブラックをよろしく)”， and the former is one of my favorite movies.
After watching Video， I went to bathroom to brush my teeth. It was around midnight. When I went out of my room to the aisle， I felt a so warm wind on my body from the kitchen. It was weird because no one was cooking there， and it was obviously too hot. I went to the kitchen and check everything， and it turned out SOMEONE FORGOT TO TURN OFF THE OVEN. How horrible!
You know， my story of yesterday， it is OK， just funny， right? This case， however is nothing funny. We could’ve ruined our house! like I ruined the cookies. And frightening thing is， it was coused by someone who was laughing at me. I mean， everyone can do it.
Watch out for fire， folks.
