Watched the musical "Show Boat (ショウ・ボート)" at Lincoln Center. “Show Boat” is generally considered to be the first musical play in America， and today I saw the video of its revival in 1994.
Showboat is a style of show that traveled along the waterways in the United States. This musical is about 40 years of a family in a showboat. There are no more showboats in this country for decades. It declined as the river culture did. I love this old style of the show business. If I had been born in the period， I could have got involved.
