Sunny.

Do you know what I really miss about Japan? It is Yakiniku, the Japanese (Korean?) style barbecue. I don’ miss Japan so much, but only the thing I really miss is that fantastic dish.

In NY, there are a few Yakiniku restaurants, but I hadn’t tried them, because I heard it is much expensive than in Japan, and taste is also not really good.

But today, I finally yielded to the temptation, and after school, I went to eat Yakiniku to a Korean food restaurant. I ate Kalbi, the plates of beef, and pork.

Actually it is not exactly what I have really wanted. In Korean way, we eat them with sesame oil, Sangchu lettuce(サンチュ), and Gochu-jang(コチュジャン), but in Japanese way, we don’ use it, we eat only with special sauce. But you know, I missed Yakiniku so much that I didn’t care.

Taste was not bad, I think kind of good, but the amount was tooooooo small, which disappointed me. In Japan, I always enjoyed unlimited Yakiniku, so today I felt so frustrated. I was about to order same thing again, but it was too expensive to do that.

Next time, Kenji will take me to unlimited Yakiniku. kkk.
