12月27日　世界の中心で。。。。。

Sunny.

Went to Central Park. Central Park has some lakes， and today I found them frozen! Of course we can’t get on such the thin ice， though， pity!

It was so clear and sunny that I was supposed to go to Sheep Meadow， the huge grassplot place. I bought a tall cafe latte and a cookie and went there， then I found Sheep Meadow closed. They will have been closed until April. I see， yeah， actually it is very winter. Sheep Meadow without people looked mysterious and lonely， which made me lonely as well.

Well， this year is about to finish. I feel strange， because here in NY， people don’t pay attention to the turn of the year. The other day I said I love Christmas， but my favorite is the atmosphere of end of the year and the New Year. Here in New York， however， I cannot feel it so much. There is no sense of restlessness like in Japan.

It is December 27th， but I don’t feel anything， so sad. OK， I will do Big Cleanup(大掃除)， and I will eat Year-crossing noodle(年越しそば) on New Year’s eve. Both of them are Japanese traditional custom in this season.

After 4 months， now I am surprised to be here.
